Hello to everyone on this forum. I just want to post my experience with the cabbage soup diet. I just started it on the July 12, 2009 at a starting weight of 209lbs. I'm 5'3 and don't do much excercise. I followed the diet the best I could with a few modifications. I weighed myself yesterday on July 15th and found that I am now down to 197lbs. So 12 pounds lost already. I weighed myself in the evening of the 3rd day which was Tuesday evening. The modifications I made to the diet was to have eight ounces of skim milk every morning with two teaspoons of whey protein. I also took a multivitamin every morning and one capsules of bee pollen. On the days when I can have fruit, I cut up my apples and raisens and sprinkled ground up flaxseed and ground up wheat germ over my fruit in the morning. The first day I also took two omega 3-6-9 with CLA softgels. But didn't continue with that. I ate more soup than anything else and also ate until I was stuffed. Everything else I kept consistent. I hope this helps to encourage someone. My next post will be on the morning of July 19, 2009 as the diet will be over. However I will frequently check back on this forum to see if any one has any comments or questions. Good luck everyone.
