Please Help! I picked up weight!

I started the diet yesterday and the soup actually wasnt bad.
I also had an apple and a few cups of tea and 1 glass of cranberry juice.

I weighted myself this morning like I do every morning & Ive picked up 1 kg ( Im in South Africa & we worked in Kgs )
Thats 2.2 pounds! Im really nervous in continuing the diet with this result.

Please can someone advise if this is normal or if they have had the same experience?

relax , finish the entire diet. maybe you did not have enough water and remember to excercise as well.

Possibly the cranberry juice that you drank. It's usually LOADED with sugar!!!!

Nik,
You do not have to worry about that. Just as Asinha mentioned the Cranberry juice is loaded with sugar, just what is recommended. Check your water in take. Normally around your monthly period if you do this diet you might not notice any significant change. But once you period is over, that's when the real weigh lose shows. Please check the thread I posted on weight lose stalls and plateaus. Go over to get a few tips on how to diet better.
