Postby tracyjayhawk73 on Wed Jan 07, 2009 5:03 am

I was wanting something warm and so I cut up an apple for fruit day and fried it in a pan with cranberry juice as the "butter" and some cinnamon. YUM

Oh wow what an idea!! In winter I don't like eating cold food. And you have such a good idea. I will try it tomorrow, that is when I plan on restarting.

Hi Didi !

What kind of curry do you add to your soup to make it yummy? mmmmmmmm the warm fruit sounds delicious!

I'm from the "sunshine state", Florida in the United States and would love to be your buddie, in fact you may find you will have quite a few buddies who just jump on at any given time.

I'm not telling anyone what my weight is.... to embarassing !! I have a monst-a load to lose!

Good luck on day one!

Hi there,

i just use the usual mild curry, it gives it a yummmier taste, but you could use hotter  .
I keep my progress up to date, you could imagine my temptation as i was preparing my kids food.

Sounds great!! :) You can also make grilled fruit kebabs! They are really lovely. Just thread on different fruit onto wooden skewers and then sprinkle over cinnamon etc and then grill! Yummmmy :)

Oh yes I will definitely try the warm fruit. Also I only see the cranberry juice on day one but can we drink it everyday that we can eat fruit? I don't see why not. Also the juice from grapefruits and such on fruit days?

Just fried up some fruit (apples, pears, and blackberries) with the cran juice and a bit of cooking spray (which I think should be fine since we can use it in our soup). So good!! Perfect thing to settle sweet cravings and eat after dinner!
