THE PURPOSE OF THIS WEBSITE ???

Hi All, Since I started The CSD and found this site it has been a tremendous help in continuing my "Battle of the bulge". The outpouring of support and encouragement from everyone was beyond my expectation. I have enjoyed meeting and chatting, exchanging thoughts and suggestion from the people I've met here. I believed THIS was the purpose of this site until this past Saturday, when a post was made by someone new to the site, a comment which this individual has since cancelled, but I had already read the comment and THAT CANNOT be cancelled. This website has always been a place that was comfortable, relaxing, very enjoyable where one felt free to express their weight-loss fears to others going through the same experience. Losing weight is stressful enough without adding this type of catty and uncalled-for behavior. I have read hundreds of posts, past and current and have NEVER come across anything close to what I saw posted and later cancelled. I sincerely hope that it is NEVER repeated since most of us DEPEND ON THIS SITE and will rather not deal with unpleasantness. Trini.
