Hey there am on the first day of my
diet and made the soup yesterday. The soup looks completely
nothing like the picture. Its red and so thick with veggies.
Have I messed up somewhere along the line?????

I just
finished making the soup myself, and it sounds to be the same as
yours... more red and very thick of veggies... so I hope that's
how it's supposed to be... good luck! By melly

Mine is
always quite thick as I use a lot of Tomatoes juice in mine!!!
but the thick broth makes it a lot more palatable and flavorful
than the ones I make just with water!!!

I made
my soup tonight for the first time in about 15 years. Using this
recipe my soup was looking thick too. I increased my water by
about 5 or 6 cups more than they stated. Also have to say I
added 6 cloves of garlic, a generous heap of cayenne pepper,
dried red pepper, and believe or not, a very generous dose of
lemon pepper. It turned out so good, I may not want to ever quit
the diet.
