How to Make the Soup More Tasty?

Questions:

I'm 21 years old... I compete in pageants and weigh 141 lbs. I would like to get down to 115-120. I need something to jumpstart me, I've tried Atkins, SlimFast, etc. I'm interested in this diet, but my only concern is the soup... I'm not a big veggie person but I'm willing to do anything to get this weight off. Is there anyway to spice it up that you might could share? Anybody with a variation of the recipe that makes it less vegetabley? Maybe just make it taste better? Also... does it smell really bad when you cook it? I'm not sure my roommates would like that too much.

I'm just trying this soup diet again. The first time I tried it it was great, mainly because it was a new thing and I managed to stay on the slop for Two weeks. After That I have re-visited it about two more times, and I could barley get past a few days.
I couldn't stand the sight (or the smell) of it... anyone got any suggestions on how to make this stuff taste a little different, I've tried the combinations but it all tastes the same... Not to mention it hurts eating this stuff after awhile... I get the feeling that sometimes these diets are designed for people who don't move around much, but after I've come off a 12 hour shift at work I need something a little more substantial or I begin to feel dizzy..
So, anyone out there got any suggestions on how to liven this soup up a bit??

Are both the Lipton soup mix and water mandatory? Is it possible to just use the tomatoes and less water and still achieve the same results? Please help. Need some ideas on how to spruce this soup up.

Old Bay seasoning does pretty well. This is cheating but towards the end of the week I've been known to add a can of crab meat. It makes it like Maryland crab soup. Crab meat is really low in fat/calories. I have also made it with sliced okra and it is kind of gumbo-like. I have noticed that I don't lose quite as much when I cheat like this, that is why it's good to do towards the end of the week when you can't stand the soup plain anymore. You are also allowed to add as much cayenne pepper or hot sauce you want if you like it hot.

I have been using this diet on and off for a couple of years and have found it to be very effective. I am making a new batch of soup tonight and plan to add ground beef & hot sauce as well as the other seasonings that are listed in the cabbage diet recipe. (I've tried adding ground beef to the soup in the past and lost the same amount of weight that I would have lost without the ground beef. Hope this helps.

I stuck to the recipe to the letter when I first started then started to play with it a bit. I no longer use the Lipton - sometimes I use bouillon, sometimes not. Bay leaves work great and I now add brussel sprouts, chopped spinach and sometimes broccoli to the mix. It's wonderful, not to mention it's a nice change to the taste. I've also added soy sauce. It's been successful for me so the alteration to the soup didn't affect the end result.
