Question:

Instead of using the onion soup mix can i
just use bouillon? And on the first day do we have to drink all
the drinks or can we just pick water? Do you think that I can do
this soup with cabbage & carrots, seasoned with
bouillon cubes
ONLY. Have you gained any of the weight back? Any side effects?

I tried a modified version of this diet
and lost 13 pounds in 4 days. I put in my soup (because I hate
cabbage) 6 green onions, carrots, celery, 2 green peppers, 2
cans of tomatoes, 2 cans green beans, vegetable broth and
bouillon cubes. The rest of the diet was the same.

I've done variations of this diet since
1996. I used only bouillon cubes and it still worked well for
me. I also used garlic. I personally find the soup to be
delicious. This is a diet and not a lifestyle so yes, I've
gained weight.
I think that has to do with me as an individual. I believe that
in order to loose weight you have to burn more calories then you
consume. Seems simple but I've found this to be excruciatingly
difficult without exercise. I think I'm gonna do the cabbage
soup diet next week. I honestly enjoy the soup.
