I have completed cabbage soup diet 4 times in 6 years!!
I have to say is WOW! I am not overweight
but I find this diet is excellent for helping
really kick start a new healthy lifestyle. When I feel full of

I have lost 2.2kg in 4 days and feel a lot
slimmer---I've been maintaining my weight by doing Weight
Watchers but needed something to push me down a few kilos and to
wean me off all the carbs I eat- so I can maintain my weight a
few kilos lighter. My sister who is doing it with me has lost 4 kg in 4/5 days.
It isn't too bad but I'm looking forward to another potato or
more fruit---haven't been lightheaded or dizzy --in fact overall
have had more energy. I imagine its something I'll do 2-3 times

I feel fantastic! I love this diet!
I finished my three weeks of
cabbage soup. I don't know how much weight I've lost, but my
clothes are fitting a lot better, and I feel lighter. Actually,
I feel good.
I plan to go on it once a month for a while. Meanwhile I plan to
eat fruits, vegetables, and a lean Cuisine meal a day. I will
drink unsweetened juices and water. One day a week I will eat
anything I want at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I can choose

Today is the 3rd day of my
cabbage soup diet. I feel fantastic! I have dropped 5 pounds
already, and looking forward to losing more. Yes, it is a diet that is NOT easy to
stick with. It takes will power. The first time I tried this
diet, I lost 13 pounds the first week. Although it may seem an
unhealthy way of losing weight to some people, to me it's quick
and I do have energy. I exercise while doing this diet, drink

The point of cabbage soup diet in my view
The cabbage
soup diet is to lose fast weight sort of a motivation to
actually start a healthy plan to lose the rest of the weight. I did this diet for two weeks and a low calorie eating plan
for another and now am doing the Atkins diet indefinitely. As for the physical exercise it
does not have to be high intensity it could just be brisk
walking for 30 minutes. Most people are able to do this or at
least slow walking. As for unhealthy, yes it is but only if you follow it for long periods of time, By Becky |
Anyone taking diet pills during cabbage soup diet? What types of exercise is
everyone doing, if any?
Yes, I did take a diet
pill to help me get past the first couple of days! After day
three I had a good handle on things! I do "The Firm Aerobic Workout with
Weights". It's a great workout! By Aimee
I don't exercise at this point, I'm just
concentrating on the weight loss and not muscle tone. I didn't take any diet pills but
it certainly won't show a sign of weakness. If you think you need them, go for it. You
will probably set them aside after a few days though. By Robyn
I haven't been taking any diet
pills. But I have been exercising, I walk two miles a day and
usually do this ten minute work out/ toning thing. I don't know
if its actually helping me but I do feel better after walking

Exercising to lose weight while on cabbage soup diet?
You may do exercise but you will really hungry afterwards. Friends on the diet didn't feel good, so exercise would make it worse. Approach with caution to see if it agrees with you. By Steve
I normally walk on my lunch 2 or 3 times
a week. I tried this diet with the same amount of exercise that
I normally do and lost 10 pounds in one week. But I suggest to
maintain the weight afterwards, you need to modify your diet and
exercise.

I do treadmill work at the
gym on occasion, may be
90 minutes a week while I'm doing the cabbage soup diet. I've lost
over 10 pounds so far, and I've been doing it for 3

Do not lift weights as in power lifting
or body building training. You just do not have the strength or
energy and you will have some of the worst headaches of your

Reduced appetite after cabbage soup diet
I did CSD for 2 weeks and lost 8.3lb
already, I am on my week break to go back again for 2 weeks and
have another break till I reach my target. I experienced a very amazing thing,
I went twice for lunch out and I couldn't manage to eat a full
jacket potato! I have to eat just a small
portion. Even lunch and dinners at home. By nadinerym

had my day off yesterday after a week of CSD and had thought of
eating a huge piece of pizza I made last night but to my
surprise my stomach didn't allow me to eat more than a small
triangle. I lost 3 kilos
in the first week and I am on the first day now of the second

Starting to feel the change after cabbage soup diet
My clothes are
starting to get lose , my stomach is starting to feel tighter,
and my spirits are lighter too knowing I am making progress and
that I am back on the right track. I know progress will be slow
for me due to my age and some other factors but I am happy with
knowing that I am at least working on it and that I am not

Do not need as much sleep since cabbage soup diet
I have noticed that I do not
need as much sleep the last 4 days since I started this CS diet.
This morning I woke up at 5:30 and my typical is about 7-7:30. I
guess not eating the carbs like I used to has really made a

Is it water loss or fat loss?
I've lost 25 pounds and I believe it was not water weight! I went from a size 12 to a size 4 (not all the size 4's fit though.) Some folks even
claimed to have continued to lose weight after they departed
from the diet and resumed reasonable eating. Their body was till
shedding weight from the soup diet.

I went on this
diet for 6 months I lost over 75lbs. I'm sure if it was only water
I would be dead. It's a great diet . After over 2 yrs
I've put on 15lbs and need to kick it in the butt before it gets
