Weakness, Dizziness,
Bad-Humor and Sleepless Nights
Question:
|
What other symptoms can I expect
other than Weakness, Dizziness, Bad-Humor, and Sleepless Nights.
Have done this diet many times and the last time I did it, I
almost fainted in a store. Needed to seat down, had a glass of
water and continued with the shopping. Took a break of about 10
days and back on this CDS, but this time felt much worse already
on my 2nd day of the diet feeling all of the above and almost
fainting again while in a store...again sat down, stopped in a
Juice Bar and asked for a watermelon juice while munching in
some dried apple bits and returned home. Could not sleep at all,
not because I was hungry, but just cos I could not sleep while
tired as hell. Woke up with horrible dark circles and feel like
am looking more like a walking ugly cadaver than a slender
healthy fellow. Am I loosing weight? Yes...definitely, the scale
keeps dropping every day that's why I keep doing it, but not
sure If my body can take any more of this diet. After all, I
believe once one eliminates all the water in ones body,
afterwards one suffers the consequences on the health issue. Any
guess, suggestions, remarks would appreciate. Am I
over-exaggerating? Everyone says I am going nuts with this
nonsense diet. But still --sometimes-- I believe we get in some
addiction modes that's difficult to quit. And I guess I got
addicted to loosing weight thru this diet. I just can't see
myself chubby again. Hum...just stressed out due to this
diet...and you can tell its another symptom as I also have been
very impatient with people as well. How horrible can it get?

I'm sure this diet affects everyone
differently. Some people just can deal with such a low-carb,
low-cal, low-protein diet better than others. When I first
started it, I had a really hard time exercising, but now I have
no problem exercising. As far as being hungry, you really
shouldn't let yourself get that way. If you don't just love
veggies and fruit (especially veggies) this diet will be way
harder for you. Maybe try
adding a very small serving of protein every day to help with
the weakness and faintness. You can use eggs, chicken or even
nuts. I did a variated version which allowed a serving of skim
milk or low-fat plain yogurt. Maybe that might work better. If
you're interested in that version I found it in a book called
The All New Cabbage Soup Diet by Margaret Danbrot or I can post
the detail on here if you'd like. It's not too different but
there are some variations. I felt a little more fulfilled on
that diet and I lost just as much weight.
