Headache during Cabbage Soup Diet

Question:

I'm not one to get headaches, but I get them while I'm on the diet. I drink Diet Soda occasionally (only when I'm off CSD)... maybe the absence of caffeine is causing it. I don't know. But I thought the diet said no diet sodas... maybe that's just the last day. I'm practically addicted to Diet Soda, but I've always thought that it doesn't do well on a diet that is trying to clean your body out like CSD does. Does anyone else get headaches while on CSD?

Many folks complain of headaches from caffeine withdrawal and drink their diet sodas and/or coffee through CSD anyway. Most have still lost substantial weight doing it too!

I am a caffeine freak. I have coffee every morning. I drink my water all day then have diet sodas at home in the evening. I too get headaches if I don't and it really hasn't hindered my progress. Good luck.

I heard it's the sodium in any soda that is part of the problem.

When I have done the CSD I got a few headaches and I was still drinking my regular amount of coffee so I had no missing caffeine.
I wondered if the headaches might be associated with metabolic changes in the system..the switching gears so to speak.
Pumping all that fluid in and the radical change in diet also changes the blood flow, heart rate etc. When I get headaches from dieting, it just "feels" like a system adjustment.
Also, I found some success deterring them with vit B complex (but trust me..don't take a B complex on an empty stomach!..ask me how I know!)
