User Testimonial on Cabbage Soup Diet

The cabbagesoup diet is the best.
I'm extremely active during the school year (I play rugby in fall and spring and train during the winter). However, when summer comes, I'm stuck behind a desk, and I put on weight like it's my job. The last three summers, I've gone from a solid 190 to a flabby 210 in a matter of months. For me, there's no better way to trim down to my ideal rugby-playing weight before I head back to school in the fall.

In one week, I'll drop 15 pounds and I'll drop another 2-3 after I stop the diet because my stomach shrinks so much that I literally can't eat as much as I used to.

In addition, I feel fantastic when I'm on the diet.  I normally eat so many carbs (pasta, bread, etc.) that I feel sluggish all day, falling asleep at my desk. Cutting carbs, and eating fruits and veggies for a few days cleanses my system and leaves me with more energy than I had eating normally.  It's strange to read everyone complaining that they lose energy and get dizzy. It's the opposite for me.

Moreover, I like not having to cook or spend money on booze for a week. My friends make fun of me for doing this once or twice a year, but I swear by it. Zero negative side effects, other than getting really sick of eating that damn soup.

I lost weight but it takes will power and determination. It is torture. I recommend this to any one who doesn't mind torturing themselves for a whole 7 days.

The help I want to look good is a quick diet. The first time I tried the diet I lost 11 pounds in 7 days, something I had never ever accomplished before. The second week I tried it, I lost 8 pounds. Then the third time I tried it, I think it was 5 pounds that I lost. Was it worth all the torture? Yes. Did I gain it all back? Yes.

I'm sure by now everyone has heard about the Cabbage Soup diet. I am also just as sure anyone dealing with a weight problem has been tempted to try it. If your health were good with no existing medical conditions my advice would be to try it if you are curious.

I followed this diet and dropped 9 pounds in a week. At first, the soup was tasty but soon grew tiresome. This isn't a diet I could stick to for a long time. I don't think the intention is to make it a lifelong eating habit. The diet doesn't provide enough nutrients and may cause vitamin and mineral deficiencies after a while if you stay on it for a prolonged time. Some side effects can be gas, lightheadedness, and nausea.

Therefore, to jumpstart your weight loss by losing a high amount of water weight, this is perfect for you. Stay on the program one week and resume life by eating a healthy meal plan and drinking lots of water.

When I first heard about the CabbageSoup Diet I thought, gross! I hate cabbage and the thought of having to eat it for 7 days straight was disgusting. After hearing about the specifics of both the soup and the diet from a friend, I decided to try it.

I had a baby 7 months ago and although I have lost all of my pregnancy weight, I am still trying to lose a bit more. A friend who also had a baby several months ago started the diet with me as a support.

The Cabbage Soup Diet is advertised as a "crash diet" meaning you will lose a lot of weight very quickly (or so they say). The diet lasts 7 days. After 7 days, you are to take a week off and then can resume the diet. It does not only consist of the soup, but also various items each day. Although it is called Cabbage Soup, it was more like vegetable soup to me.

I have been on the Cabbage Soup Diet now for 3 days. It was hard the past 2 days. I was hungry a lot, but now my body has adjusted to the diminished amount of food and I am getting used to the way this diet works. I weighed myself tonight and I have already lost 4lbs!

It's that simple. Although I have only gone through 3 days so far, the diet has gone smoothly for me.

There are some drawbacks and side effects to this diet. It is repetitious and hard only eating soup all day long. It does give you gas and some stomach upset. Being as it lasts only 7 days, I am willing to stick with it and see what happens.

Thus far, I would recommend this diet to those who want to lose weight in a short amount of time. Exercise is a requirement while doing this diet; otherwise, all the weight lost will quickly come back once your 7 days are over.
